About EES

EES is a trusted and valued partner in supporting the mission and business of federal agencies. As a premier systems integrator, our dedicated and highly credentialed men and women deliver successful lifecycle planning, engineering development support, and enterprise-wide enhancement of IT systems.

Established in September 2004, EES is a small business joint venture formed by an SBA-approved 8(a) mentor-protégé agreement between 1 Source Consulting, Inc. and RHRT Holdings, Inc. EES delivers full life-cycle IT services and support to the federal government. On December 5, 2005, the U.S. Department of Energy awarded EES a 7-year, $1 billion dollar A-76 IT support contract, one of the largest federal IT services contracts ever awarded to a small business. In addition to the DOE IT Support Services contract, EES holds prime contracts on DHS EAGLE Small Business (FC1, FC 2 Tier 1, and FC4) and GSA Alliant Small Business. Today, EES is a fully populated joint venture that has grown to more than 450 employees supporting federal clients in 10 states, providing a broad range of performance-based, geographically dispersed support in IT Infrastructure and Network Operations, IT Management, Information Assurance, and Systems Development and Engineering.

Our highly skilled, certified, and innovative management, technical, and support staff apply industry standards and best practices to achieve and maintain a consistently high-quality and secure computing environment for the federal user communities who depend on us every day. We employ ITIL v3 as the primary framework for IT Service Management, CMMI as our principal systems engineering methodology, and ISO 9001:2000 for our quality management system. Our program and project managers are PMP certified, and apply sound management techniques based on the principles set forth in the PMBOK 4th Edition and on expertise gained through years of hands-on experience. Our operations staff professionals are ITIL V3 Foundation trained and certified and many have other relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS, MCP, A+, MCSE, and CCNA/CCIE.

Working collaboratively with our federal customers, EES supports the implementation of integrated enterprise-wide operations and capabilities. We have planned and transitioned multiple disparate help desks into a single point of contact enterprise service desk; consolidated and migrated virtualized servers, applications, and storage; and developed and implemented enterprise network management capabilities that permit remote monitoring, management, configuration, patching, and updates from a central location. Our expertly trained and certified cyber security staff consistently assess risk and vulnerabilities and employ mitigating techniques to stay ahead of dynamic threats, maintain continuity of operations, and protect the integrity and confidentiality of our customers’ information assets from an organizational and personal perspective.

Finally, our management team established and follows the highest standards for business ethics, performance, and quality; these standards are an integral part of our how we do business. We are strongly committed to our customers, our employees, and the communities in which we work and live.
