John Holman, III.

Chief Operating Officer

John Holman, Chief Operating OfficerMr. Holman is responsible for leading EES operations, business development, contracts management, and human resources activities organization-wide. As part of the executive team, Mr. Holman brings extensive experience in corporate business operations and new business capture developed while working in the Federal Government information technology profession for more than 30 years.

Prior to joining 1 Source, Mr. Holman served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Wyle Information Systems directing the Science and Engineering Division.  The business unit was comprised of major contracts with NASA, NOAA, DOE, FAA and EPA.  As part of the executive operations team, he played a major role in the transition of service delivery associated with the Wyle acquisition of RS Information Systems (RSIS).

As a Senior Vice President at RS Information Systems, Mr. Holman oversaw all civilian programs operations.  Under his direction the business unit grew from $10 million in annual revenue to $200 million annually.  Major clients included virtually all Federal civilian agencies and multiple contracts with DOE, NOAA, FAA, DOC, DOL, and EPA.   Mr. Holman led the business development/capture efforts that resulted in the award of the $425 million DOE Information Technology Integration Support Services (ITISS) contract to RSIS.  This was the largest IT services contract ever awarded by the Federal Government to a small business enterprise.

Prior to working with RSIS, Mr. Holman served as a senior executive for several small business enterprises providing management oversight of contract service delivery and business development activities.  Major clients included FAA and DOD.  Mr. Holman holds a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland in Management Science/Statistics and is a Phd candidate in Economics, also at the University of Maryland.
